Pin the Peak: the daily mountain guessing game

Every day Pin the Peak shows five photos of mountains: three of Colorado's fifty-eight fourteeners and two famous peaks from elsewhere in the world, from the Matterhorn and Mount Fuji to Denali, Aconcagua and Everest. For each photo you name the mountain and drop a pin on the map where its summit stands.

A correct name is worth 500 points and a close pin is worth up to 500 more, so a perfect day scores 5,000. Fourteener pins are judged within a few miles; world pins within a few hundred. When you finish you can share your score, then play earlier days from the archive. There's nothing to sign up for. The photos come from Wikimedia Commons under free licenses and are credited after each guess.
